1. The FCA’s first-ever Horizon Scan evaluates notable ways that emerging technology could create new outcomes for consumers, firms, and markets
2. The regulator predicted that we’re heading into a future in which humans will be further separated from AI-generated communications around financial decision-making, and will only review outputs occasionally
3. In particular, the FCA warned firms to beware of what it called “suspicious perfection,” where AI can fabricate evidence trails to “obscure malicious intent”
