Global Relay President Named 1st Among Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs

Vancouver, BC – November 28, 2011 – Global Relay is pleased to announce that Shannon Rogers, the company's President and General Counsel, has been named to the top position on the annual PROFIT W100 ranking of Canada's Top Female Entrepreneurs.

Profit Magazine's "W100" ranks Canada's Top Female Entrepreneurs on a composite score based on the size and growth of their businesses. Under Rogers' leadership, Global Relay has seen rapid growth in revenue, customer-base, and company size. The company plans to grow further by investing heavily in R&D and maintaining an enticing company culture that balances team play and independent thinking.

Together with Global Relay's CEO Warren Roy, she has overseen the company's development into a market-leading provider of email archiving, eDiscovery and mobile messaging solutions. Global Relay now delivers messaging compliance solutions to more than 15,000 financial firms, including 22 of the world's top 25 banks. The company's spotless track record of zero outages or lost messages - verified through an external KPMG audit - is crucial to securing the business of global banks.

Prior to her role as President and General Counsel at Global Relay, Rogers practiced business and securities law at two national law firms, McCarthy Tetrault in Toronto and Borden Ladner Gervais in Vancouver.

"This is a well-deserved honor for Shannon," said Warren Roy, CEO & Co-Founder of Global Relay. "Her legal and compliance expertise, business insight and outstanding leadership have been one of the most important reasons for our company's explosive growth."

Rogers has steadily climbed the ranks of the Profit W100; she was ranked 22nd in 2009 and 6th in 2010. In addition, she was honored in 2007 with a position on Business in Vancouver's "Forty under 40" list and in 2006 as one of Lexpert's "Rising Stars – Leading Lawyers Under 40".
